Username is a textarea field - not autofilled

I use a site for managing my NAS that has the "username" field as a textarea, not an input field. 1P will not autofill this field. Is there a workaround to make this work or is this a limitation of 1P? I also noticed the autocomplete attribute and was thinking that may be the reason or a combination of the two issues.

<textarea class="qStr" data-qstrph="LDAP_SERVER_STR12" id="username" autocomplete="off" placeholder="Username"></textarea>

    Hi njitman:

Thanks for reporting this! We'd likely need to take a closer look at this specific page. Can you collect page details from this page and attach them in an email addressed to support+x@1password.com? To collect page details, right click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar, then choose Help > Collect Page Structure.

Once you email the page details in, you'll receive a reply from BitBot with a support ID that looks something like [#ABC-12345-678]. Post that here, and we'll be able to connect the dots.
