Using Safari Technology Preview and Safari spontaneously launches

I'm not sure where this belongs, but I've noticed a regression in the past couple of weeks. I use 1Password for Safari in Safari Technology Preview (STP). It's set to not integrate with the 1Password 8 app, which I also have installed. Often when I launch STP Safari also launches, and on occasion (not sure why – can't find a reliable reproduce case) Safari will launch arbitrarily while I'm using STP.

I only started seeing this issue in the last two weeks or so – it might be tied to the 1P 8 release. Before this time I didn't have this problem.

Extension Version: 2.3.3
OS Version: macOS 12.4

    Hi, neilio. I was just scanning the forum and found some old posts like this one with no replies. Sorry about that!

    There are some known issues with running both Safari and STP and 1Password's ability to talk to just one of them. Unfortunately I don't have a solution for you at this point. :(
