Websites requiring passwords in spite of pass keys
I am confused by pass keys. For one of my financial accounts, I have stored the passwords in 1Password. I have also stored a pass key there as well. When I go to the account, my face get scanned and ...

Thank you for reaching out. Passkeys are a modern alternative to passwords – they enable people to log in to their online accounts without having to enter a password. While websites may choose to implement passkeys in slightly different ways, you generally shouldn't be asked for a password and a passkey at the same time.
So that I can better understand the situation can you tell me the following:
- Which website are you signing into?
- Are you signing into the website using a Mac or Windows PC? Or an iPhone or Android phone?
- Which browser are you using?
