Websites requiring passwords in spite of pass keys
I am confused by pass keys. For one of my financial accounts, I have stored the passwords in 1Password. I have also stored a pass key there as well. When I go to the account, my face get scanned and ...
It does not have a pass key. I can’t find an opportunity to create one either. It’s curious to me that when I use Face ID, they then fill in the Password field automatically. I am curious about where they store this password and how they retrieve it? I’m on my iPhone using their app when I do it.
