Where Can I Store my 1Password 2FA Tokens?

I switched to cloud vault some time ago. However, I stored the 2FA tokens for my 1Password accounts in a local 1Password vault synced through iCloud.

With 1Password 8, where local vaults are no longer available, I have of course no way of storing 2FA tokens in 1Password for 1Password accounts, it's a CATCH-22. I cannot access these 2FA tokens because I need them to access them …

Do I really need an additional app just for 2FA tokens for 1Password accounts? (With all the hassle: Backup, syncing, license fees, …)
