Based on your description, it seems like the 1Password in your browser has trouble connecting with the desktop app. That said, if 1Password takes too long to unlock or gets stuck on loading screen, please try these steps to see how it works.
Right-click the 1Password icon in the browser toolbar > Settings > Scroll down to "Integrate with 1Password app" at the end of General section and toggle it off > Wait for one or two seconds and turn it on again. It should unlock 1Password for you quickly after that.
