Why isn't DuckDuckDuck go privacy browser supported?
Have the 1Password folks re-evaluated their position on DuckDuckGo? This privacy browser has a lot to offer and continually makes improvements. One of the features is blocking tracking attempts. ...

11 months agoThanks for the reply. On Android, 1Password uses the native system API to fill passwords into apps like Brave: Use 1Password to save logins and sign in to apps and websites on your Android device
On Windows, 1Password uses it's own browser extension to fill and save passwords in Brave and other browsers. Unlike Chrome and Edge, DuckDuckGo for Windows doesn't support browser extensions. I recommend that you reach out to DuckDuckGo's support team to let them know that you'd like to see support for extensions introduced so that you can use browser extensions like 1Password in the browser in their browser.
That being said, you can fill passwords from 1Password into apps that don't support extensions (like DuckDuckGo) by using the auto-type feature: Use Auto-Type in apps and browsers on your Windows PC
