Will 1Password prompt users to upgrade or show that an update is available?

I'm wondering whether to tell family members that they should upgrade to 1Password version 8. Will 1Password prompt users to upgrade or show that an update is available? 1Password Version: 7.9...

Hey @doray :

1Password 7 will not prompt you to upgrade to 1Password 8. If you or your family members would like to upgrade to 1Password 8, you can download it from our website here: 1Password - Download 1Password 8 for Mac.. Installing 1Password 8 should remove the 1Password 7 app from the device.
