We had a long support thread over email. I found out the following ugly workaround:
Either add an extra text field userpassword, or make a new login item with only text field userpassword. Note that it has to be a text field.
In the login to Zyxel, click the 'reveal' eye so it becomes a crossed-over eye, and fill by clicking the right end of the User Name field and choose the new login. It will fill with clear text password, and the Login button is enabled and working.
The issue here is that the password field has the wrong type, it is text field rather than a password field, which makes 1PW refuse to fill. But it will happily fill clear text in a clear text field. In addition, The Login button will not be enabled unless the 'reveal' eye is clicked.
I tried to contact Zyxel but they seem to refuse direct contact and want me to go via my ISP. I did both but Zyxel has not issued a firmware upgrade (which I think is a terribly lousy support behavior). You may try from your side.
