4 years agoWith the new proton.me website 1password no longer automatically fills in the 2FA code.
1Password still fills in the userid and password, but no longer automatically fills in the saved 2FA code when prompted. Proton.me now requires a captcha to be solved after userid and password is entered. Once that's solved, proton requests the 2FA code. 1password doesn't give me the ability to use the browser extension to fill it in.

It doesn't show up all of the time, but I've seen it a couple of times with two different proton accounts.

I've tried signing in and out and logging in with a VPN (different IP) and with different browsers and I cannot get the captcha to show. All I get it the password and then the totp field. Which 1Password fills. Is there a setting I might have missed?
