"Your saved data appears to be newer than this version of 1Password can use."

Just downloaded today's nightly 1Password for Mac. It comes up with the following error message, then closes after clicking OK. Downloading the production version got the same result. H...

Same here.

Tried the beta 8.10.46-1 as well as the nightly 8.10.46-21 with same result. Can't get into my 1Password data at all, even through the browser extension. Not good.

UPDATE 1: I can't follow the instructions here to start over because I can't access the Reset 1Password option inside the app because clicking OK in the above dialog just quits the app.

The developers need to cater for this situation and allow you to reset the app.

UPDATE 2: Tried to follow the "To delete the backup of your data" from the above instructions page, but there was no 1password_xxxxxxxxxx_v8.xx.xx.sqlite file to delete. Instead I had the following files:


1password_resources.sqlite
1password_resources.sqlite-shm
1password_resources.sqlite-wal
1password.sqlite

I deleted those files and restarted 1Password and it allowed me to re-login to my account and get up and running again using the latest nightly 8.10.46-21.

Phew!
