CLI can not connect to desktop app

Hi, 

I know this is an old thread but I am seeing the same error:
[ERROR] 2025/05/12 16:36:20 connecting to desktop app: write: The pipe is being closed.

I have op cli version:
PS C:\Users\jonerj> op --version
2.31.0

Application version:
1Password for Windows 8.10.75 (81075001)

Is it possible there is another signature problem?
