GitHub finally supports SSH commit verification; how to use with 1Password SSH agent and GUI tools?

GitHub finally supports SSH commit verification!

How can we use this with the 1Password SSH Agent and tools like Tower, Fork, etc.?

(It works on the command line using git, but not in GUI tools it seems?)
