op signin appears to be broken

Hello, we just started noticing this happening a few days ago. We are unable to use the cli to signin anymore.

$ op signin ibm.ent.1password.com
Enter the password for at ibm.ent.1password.com:
[ERROR] 2024/10/14 20:58:34 Authentication: DB: 445:

and then nothing happens.

We are using op version 1.8.0 inside of an ubi9 container. At the moment upgrading to 2.0 breaks our automation. I just want to know if something broke or if this is expected.

    Yes, this is expected. CLI v1 has reached EoL as of October 1st, 2024, 2.5 years after the first release of CLI v2.

    At the moment upgrading to 2.0 breaks our automation.
