Unify commands taking URLs vs ItemId

I do a lot of scripting with the 'op" command.  One of my painpoints is that some commands take an op:// URL and others take a itemID.  I have a script that converts from one to the other, but using the cli tool would be easier if all subcommands took both.

I don't know if this has been suggested before, but one thing that would make this easier would be if there was a URL format for the itemID.   For example, if the itemID could be specified as a URL (something like "op://id/myaccount/oba1aa2c3a4h5bc67def7l4hij"). Then all commands could simply accept the URL and it would unify all my scripting :-)
