9 TopicsPush notification on login expiry iOS - Feature Request
Howdy Team, Figured I would sneak my one other heart's desire in while I was here. Would there be any possibility of having 1Password iOS send a push notification when the login session has expired? One thing I find incredibly challenging (particularly with the SSO login process) is when I need to rapidly log into a work app or website, then realise I can't log in because I need to sign in to 1Password again. Something is also astray as SSO never seems to completely work in the workflow of Go to other random app --> use 1Password to load login --> 1Password is signed out --> sign in --> records don't show. Instead I have to exit the random app I am trying to log into, switch to 1Password, SSO, then go back in and start again. But, be it SSO or personal account, it would be great to have a proactive notification to say 'Hey time to sign in again' so that when I need it, I know I have already followed that notification and logged in again. Simple, but, highly desirable. Cheers, Stuart2Views0likes0Comments1Password dev ressources vs IPO
Hello, since 2024, when 1Password started looking into/considered an IPO, i have the feeling all development ressources were focused solely on growing the userbase and everything else was deprioritized. For example: The terraform provider didn't get any updates (e.g. Ephemeral Values) Simple improvements are deep in the backlog: Collapsible tags Displaying the user on the "last edited" line Improvements for managing vaults/users in an enterprise context are missing: Admins still can delete Owners Vaults can be deleted by any admin without "four-eye-principle" ... There is no way to export vaults encrypted Maybe some ressources could be assigned to improvements instead of new features... /rant over108Views1like1CommentBlank screen when using PassKeys connexion on IOS for Google
Hello, I've a got a similar issue than this one, on my case it happens when I'm using `PassKey` to login. Authentication gets stuck on iOS with two accounts | 1Password Community When I want to login into an iOS app which use Google for sign in if use `PassKey` as a method to sign-in nothing will happens and I will be stuck on a blank page.Solved58Views0likes5CommentsAuthentication gets stuck on iOS with two accounts
I just added a work account to my iPhone’s 1P install (I’ve had a personal account for years). After doing so, all attempts to authenticate using Face ID get me to a blank screen, for both personal and work accounts. This leaves me dead in the water as I can’t log in anywhere using a passkey, for example.78Views0likes4CommentsIssues with opening the app on multiple devices
Why does the app suck so much across devices lately. I have issues on iPad, iPhone and Mac. With the app just not opening when I press on the icon or the keyboard shortcut. I’ve been through the pain with support before of diagnosing issues like this and reinstalling the app etc but I shouldn’t have too. How wide spread are these issues because I get them on every device and they come and go. They’re more common for sure on iPad and iPhone. But lately Mac is not far behind but at least with the Mac app fully closing it and restarting it pretty much always fixes the issue.19Views0likes1CommentUnable to recover account frozen from unsubscribed family.
Dear 1Password Team, I would like to escalate a serious issue regarding the recovery process that seems quite illogical and leaves users like me stuck without any viable solution. I was previously part of a Family plan on 1Password. After some time, the Family owner unsubscribed from the plan, and as a result, I was automatically logged out from all browsers. When I tried to log back in via the web, I received an error stating that my user account has been deleted. However, I still have access to my 1Password app on my iPhone where my data and vaults are still present — though marked as frozen. I attempted to generate a recovery code and followed the recovery procedure, but it ultimately failed. Now, as I am registering for a new Family plan, I find myself completely blocked from transferring or recovering my existing data, even though: My account and vault data still exist and are fully accessible on my iPhone. The app still recognizes my previous vault but simply locks new changes because of the frozen state. There is no official option to link this existing local data to my newly subscribed Family account. I find it quite unreasonable that the system offers no migration or recovery path despite the fact that my data is intact and accessible on my device. In effect, I am being forced to lose all my stored information and start over, solely because the previous Family owner unsubscribed. This creates a highly frustrating user experience and puts user data at unnecessary risk of loss. I believe 1Password should have a better solution for such scenarios — at the very least, provide a way to re-activate or migrate frozen local vaults into a new subscription. Please escalate this issue to your technical or product team. I look forward to your assistance and hope a reasonable solution can be provided. Thank you.30Views0likes1CommentProvide additional information on the Devices list
In light of email received regarding versions that will be considered deprecated effective May 1, it would be helpful if the Linked to your Account device list on the My Profile view included the version info. This would be helpful to both users and administrators alike.Solved97Views0likes3CommentsTrouble signing in when one account has SSO and one has biometrics
We recently switched from LastPass to 1Password at work. I have been using 1Password personally for a few years, so I simply added the account to the few devices that benefit from both accounts coexisting (iPhone, iPad, both running iOS 18.3). The work account enforces a SSO through Google which seems to cause a hang up in the sign-in process for autofill when I have biometric sign-in enabled for my personal account. The sign-in interface will unlock my personal account, the 1Password lock icon will turn about 45 degrees, and then seemingly it attempts to use biometrics for the work account as well. Instead of failing and requiring the Google sign-in, the interface locks up, graying out the Google SSO option but not allowing me into the personal account either, and requiring me to open the full app and copy-paste log in credentials. Any help or workaround would be appreciated! 1Password Version: 8.10.56 Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3 Browser: Not Provided50Views0likes1Comment
