I am encountering an issue with 1Password after unlinking my account. Despite completing the unlinking process, the app is still prompting me to allow a verification code on the device I am signed into. Whenever I launch the desktop app from the menu or tool bar it will open behind my active windows. I have not been able to find a way to change my Mac or 1Password settings for it to open in front of active windows like all other apps typically do. I saw some previous discussions about this but was not able to identify answer to the problem. This on behalf of my sister: New Pixel 8a, Android 15. When she tries to autofill, geta a notification saying she hasn't enabled autofill on phone. Click the autofill toggle in the phone settings and try again, same result. The kicker: when she goes back to the phone settings, the toggle is off again, disallowing autofill. I'm totally confused about passkeys. After a bit of research decided to create a passkey for a financial site. I saved the passkey with the 1P icon showing up when I did so. I also want to create another passkey saved with Apple Passwords. I am able to login to the site now with the (presumably) 1P-created passkey. However, where the passkey stored? I see no note of it in the 1P login entry. I do not see it in Apple Passkeys. How to I choose where to store the passkeys? I'd like to create one in both Apple and 1P for redundancy but I need to make sure they are backup up first. The browser extension for 1P is now yet set up. I have 1Password on my computer and have enabled the extension on Safari. However, when I try to use certain apps on my iPhone, 1Password does not come up. In particular, I try to open my kindle on my phone and the old Amazon password autofills rather than the Amazon password assigned by 1Password on my computer. No way to talk to anyone who actually works for 1Password anymore? Just the user group for support? No live people who actually work for the company? I was on their "support" page for Mac and all I got were mostly Windows answers. I search for a number and it says "no results" and yet there it is in my bank account number. Beginning around 1/16/2025 it appears a Chrome or 1Password/extension update has created issues on ebay.com - multiple search, dashboard, and other URLs part of ebay. The issue is on page load the page becomes "frozen" and you are unable to interact with any site elements for a number of seconds, 5-10 in some cases. For me I am able to reproduce it on different computers. All other extensions disabled for testing. When 1Password extension is turned off there are no issues.

Hi, for my other computers, when I left click on the password in the chrome extension, it copies automatically. For some reason, when I left click on password, a menu pops up that says copy, reveal, or show in large type. Dear 1Password Team, I know, this is a niche: Chromebook user with fingerprint sensor. But there are some of us out there. Why, because this system is extremely productive and still ridiculously cheap compared to anything else. I know, if I'm on macOS, Windows or Android, the fingerprint reader can unlock the browser extension as well. But on the ChromeOS there is no app (fortunately). I’m using Firefox version 134.0.2 in MacOS 15.2 with 1Password version 8.10.56 for Mac. The 1Password extension is enabled and the app is open and unlocked but each time I open a site requiring login and password I get a pop-up telling me to, “Press the 1Password icon in your browser’s toolbar to unlock.” This requires me to unlock 1Password again to enter the site’s login/password combination. Not sure if this is a Firefox or 1Password issue but it’s annoying. i use DuckDuckGo's search engine but if I want to use its browser and 1PW's autofill features (which I love, by the way) all that I get is to be taken to the website sign-in page. Hi, I am using 1Password for years now, but since installation of macOS Sequoia the autfill feature on Safari stops working after some time. 1Password can be unlocked and shows the autofill entries but when I click on it, nothing gets filled. After restarting the system, it works again but eventually stops working. Other browsers are working just fine (Firefox, Chrome). Tried all the recommended steps (relogin, reinstalling the browser extension) but keeps happening. For a number of versions now using the 1Password extension in Safari to login to websites can often take several seconds before the username and passwords are inputted into the fields (as long as 5sec). Also using the "Command + \" keyboard shortcut also often doesn't work (or takes a LONG time) if the cursor is in the username field but seems to work better if the cursor is in the password field. I have rebooted the Mac etc but it's made no difference. Any idea what's going on? It's becoming very irritating having to manually move the cursor to the password Field every time and re-click the keyboard shortcut several times just to fill in the user login fields. The messages just say that it's not working 😛 with DETACH_STALLED_IN_STOPPING error. I recently updated my mac to Sequoia (macos15) - this may or may not be related to an issue I started seeing with Chrome around the same time. I have multiple Chrome profiles; when trying to open the 1password extension in one of them, I experience very long lags from when I click the 1password icon to when I see a usable UI. The problem doesn't present itself when launching the main 1password UI from the Mac toolbar, nor in all of my Chrome profiles. And it also seems not to be a problem in Safari. I have updated Chrome and de/re-install the 1PW extension multiple times. Each time, it seems to behave fine for a brief period, but then goes back to this long lag. Has anyone else experienced this? Since upgrade to latest Chrome v130 (or perhaps was already the case with v129 which I jumped over), when 1Password Chrome extension is enabled, the basic proxy authentication prompt from Chrome is not coming up (the prompt is supposed to be popping up when accessing a site that is on the internet, thus via proxy, via pac configuration). With 1Password extension disabled, it works as intended. This needs to be a configurable option. I understand the value of encouraging users to keep their browser updated. But Google is now releasing very frequent updates, sometimes multiple times per day. Most of these are not even security updates. Since we are encouraged in the blog the voice our requests for the summer and fall releases, I just bite the bullet. I envy the way Bitwarden and Proton Pass handle user name generation in combination with forwarding email generation. The way they do it is superior in every way to 1Password. I use Fastmail and the integration provided can be considered as minimal as it only works with a browser extension. The Bitwarden integration with Fastmail allows to cycle through suggested aliases to pick one and the functionality works in every client and browser extension in the same way. 1Password was an innovator when they first proposed the Fastmail-integration but after so many years, Fastmail is still the only integration available. It used to be that when I signed into 1Password (thru a browser extension), I could then open a different browser and I would automatically be signed into 1Password. A while back this stopped. (For me, Chrome and Firefox). I searched Settings for something that may have changed, unsuccessfully. Can't find any discussions about this, either. I figured/hoped it was a bug that would resolve itself but this hasn't happened.
