Chrome 147 Update Breaks Passkey Support

I tested saving and signing in with a passkey in Chrome 147 on my device and was able to successfully do so using the 1Password in the browser. To confirm, are you seeing this issue on all websites, or specific ones? Additionally, are you seeing any error messages, or are you being prompted to save passkeys by your browser rather than 1Password in the browser?

hi Trevor, turns out I was a bit off in my initial assessment. What happened is the "Offer to Save and Fill Passkeys" toggle is disabled and "Managed by Administrator" (This is happening only on our corporate 1Password installs). I reached out to our internal IT about it -- they're investigating but are unaware of any intentional changes to disable passkey support in our org. It was not related to browser update.

Thank you for the update! It sounds like the "Passkey item support" policy may have been enabled, which disables saving and signing in with passkeys:
Manage team policies in 1Password Business
