Thank you for the feedback and for explaining the background on this change!
From our perspective, “Angestellte” remains misleading in German. Most users expect to find colleagues or generic employee accounts there and it’s also the feminine form of “Mitarbeiter” which adds unnecessary ambiguity.
In German, switching to “Persönlich” offers additional benefits. It avoids confusion with the plural and feminine noun “Angestellte” and circumvents the ongoing, politically charged debate over gender-inclusive language in German, a discussion that often complicates terminology decisions.

I don't have any updates to share, the feature request remains open with our Product team.
Since you're using 1Password Business then I recommend that you reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to share your feedback with them as well so that they're aware that this is something that your organization requires.
