When using 1Password Business your employees are entitled to a free 1Password Families account which will stay free for as long as your 1Password Business membership is valid, and they remain an employee. When an employee leaves your organization, they can unlink their family account and add a payment method to keep using it: Get a free 1Password Families membership when you use 1Password Business
1Password Families is meant for personal use and doesn't include many of the features that businesses require for employee management like reporting, role-based vault sharing and permissions, and more. You can find a comparison of the plans on our website here.
