Password Expiration Notifications in 1Password

Within 1Password, you do have the option to set an expiration date and view it via Watchtower, but you do not receive a notification when a password is about to expire. Is this currently being worked...

Thank you for the feedback! Adding an expiry date to an item will result in that item being flagged by Watchtower in two places: 

  • As a banner at the top of the item itself. 
  • In Watchtower's "Expiring Items" section in the 1Password app. 


While I don't have any plans to share about having 1Password generate push notifications for expired items, I've filed a feature request with our Product team so that they can consider adding this feature in the future.
