Share a password without sharing the associate Notes?

The Chatbot said it was possible but I'm not seeing any options to hide the secondary data when sharing a password. I would like to be able to share the Username and Password, but not the notes. Sometimes that gets info like "Shared with vendor A on dd/mm/yy, vendor B on dd/mm/yy" but we don't want both Vendors knowing when the other was involved. Was hoping there was some way to specify that either globally or on a per share basis.

Welcome to the community! AJCxZ0 got it right: there isn't currently a way to exclude fields when sharing an item using a secure share link. That being said, I've filed a feature request to have our team look into adding such a feature in the future.

Do you happen to have a screenshot of what the Chatbot said? I can forward this to our team internally so that they can get this fixed.

When you share an item with someone outside 1Password a copy of the item is made and shared. This means that you could remove the details from the item which you don't want to the recipient to see, share the item, then restore those details.

I've not tested this, so caveat communicator.

Note that this means that if you change something else in the shared item after sharing, e.g. changing the password, then the recipient will only see the old password.

A more conservative but labour-intensive approach would be to have multiple items duplicated from the original and share each of these with one recipient. This way you can keep and share the notes. The drawback is that you'll need to update multiple items if you change a field such as password.
