Hi folks, we're seeing this issue regularly as well. We are using Entra SSO, the 1Password desktop app, and the Chrome & Edge extensions. Many of our people get the message shown below from time to time. Clicking the Sign in with Microsoft button just spins for a bit and then shows this message again. Once they X out of this message they are prompted to transfer their encryption key.
Thus far I've instructed them to either reboot their computer, or explicitly quit the 1Password desktop app by right-clicking the icon in the system tray. Once they've done that, they are almost always able to successfully sign in with Microsoft SSO and the app works correctly - no need for any transfer key work.
My gut feeling is that this is connected to a 1Password app update, but I can't prove that and I've not been able to recreate the issue on demand. In any case, it's really hampering our rollout of 1Password, and my adoption rate is falling because of it.
P.S. Our people are using Windows 10 or Windows 11. We use Microsoft SSO for many other apps (Office, SharePoint, Teams, etc) and have no issues with those whatsoever.

For this, I think it would be best to get in contact with your account team at 1Password, or send in a ticket so the experts on the support team can help dig in further. To get in contact with support you can send a message to support@1password.com with the details you've shared here. If there's anything we can help with in the meantime, just let us know. Thanks!
