“Add your first items” has shown up and won’t go away
I’ve been using 1P for years and have lots of things in the vault. Today, on Windows, I’ve got a message above my items saying “Add your first items” and there doesn’t appear to be a way to get rid o...

FWIW I'm seeing the same "Add your first items" panel in the macOS app (v8.10.50 on macOS 15.4.1 on MBP M2 Max), however on other machines signed into the same account it isn't there.
What are the actual criteria the app uses when decided whether or not to show this panel? Is it based on how many items were created on that specific machine? This particular machine isn't used to enter new items, only to access existing items. I've been using 1P for years, I don't need to be encouraged to use it.
If it's based on how many items have been created on the current machine, maybe it should be based on how many items are in the vaults accessible through the machine ... or maybe add something in the preferences which turns off all the new-user introductory stuff entirely.

5 months agoThank you for reaching out. It sounds like you're using an older version of the 1Password desktop app from October 2024, can you update to the current version (8.10.76): How to keep 1Password up to date
Let me know if you still see the same message after updating and restarting the app.
