Comet issues with local sites

I have a bunch of servers on my home network, that I access via '.local' domains (they resolve to 192.168.1.XXX IP addresses).

I can auto-login fine with Safari (1Password for Safari 8.11.9). From Comet (Chrome extension 8.11.22.27) it will not autofill.

If I use the Cmd-Shift-X hot key from Comet it does recognize the .local site, but autofill from there also fails and I have to copy and paste my password each time.

This did previously work, not sure if it's a Chrome extension update or Comet extension update that broke.
