1 password 7 icon stuck in tray after 1 password 8 installed

In Mac OS Monterey, the icon for 1 password 7 and 1 password 8 are both in the tray. The 1 password 7 icon does not work but I can't remove it. How do I remove the 1 password 7 icon?

    Jack, I restarted my Mac, had to force quit 1Password 7 to shut down, and upon restart, the 1Password 7 icon was gone. Success. Thanks for your help...
