Wells Fargo Passkey Not Saving In 1P
We're happy to share that our latest release, 1Password 8.10.80, includes a fix for this issue. We appreciate everyone's patience while we diagnosed, created, and tested the fix. Please update to the latest version and let us know how it's working for you!
Hey h3h,
It sounds like 1Password in your browser may be having hard time communicating with your 1Password desktop app. Can you try the below steps and let us know if it improves things:
- Right click the little 1Password icon on the top menu bar of your Mac (where the clock is) and select "Quit".
- Quit Chrome by right clicking its icon in the Dock and selecting "Quit".
- Open and unlock 1Password.
- Open Chrome and test if it is working properly.
Let us know how you get on!
Hi thirdwaver, thanks for reaching out!
I've taken a look and was able to reproduce the behaviour on the AT&T Prepaid page. I've reported this to our development team for further investigation and have shared your experience. I apologize for any inconvenience. While I'm unable to provide an exact timeline for a fix, once there is one, it will be listed in our https://releases.1password.com/b5x/.
As a workaround in the meantime, you can disable the auto-submit feature in the 1Password extension's settings using the following steps:
- Right-click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar, then select "Settings".
- Click Autofill & save in the side panel.
- Toggle off the "Sign in automatically after autofill" setting.
If you'd prefer to continue using the auto-submit feature, then I'd suggest using the https://support.1password.com/getting-started-browser/#use-drag-and-drop-to-fill-in-apps method or copy and paste to fill your credentials on this page, then click "Sign in" manually.
If there's anything else I can assist you with, let me know!
