1Password 8 freezes when unlocking through the Chrome browser extension

The 1P 8 extension was doing great until the latest update. Now, unlocking through the Chrome extension freezes my computer completely for ~5-10 seconds. Is this a known issue? 1Password Versi...

I'm experiencing the same issue. Been having this freezing on and off for at least the past week, likely as much as 2 or 3 weeks.
It's always a spinning wheel in chrome after opening 1password via shortcut, for ~2s, sometimes becoming responsive again then spinning wheel again for another ~2-3s.
