1Password 8 freezes when unlocking through the Chrome browser extension

The 1P 8 extension was doing great until the latest update. Now, unlocking through the Chrome extension freezes my computer completely for ~5-10 seconds. Is this a known issue? 1Password Versi...

I'm experiencing the same issue with the same configuration:
1Password for Mac 8.9.4 80904044, on PRODUCTION channel
1Password – Password Manager 2.3.8
macOS 12.6 (21G115)
Google Chrome Version 106.0.5249.119 (Official Build) (arm64)
