1Password 8 freezes when unlocking through the Chrome browser extension

Just throwing my hat into the ring here -- this makes Chrome nearly unusable for me as every ~30min Chrome will entirely freeze for 2-3 minutes, beachballing.

I'm experiencing this issue too. Chrome sometimes freezes (100% CPU utilization) for up to 30 seconds. I also have a lot of tabs open at any time, which might influence the duration since I get freezes of tens of seconds as opposed to 2-3 seconds like some others have reported. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to reliably reproduce the issue yet.

+1 Same issue.
Whenever the 1password UI opens (the quick search with or without the chrome extension, the dropdown under the selected text field, etc), chrome and the 1password UI will chug/freeze for 10+ seconds, and sometimes completely freeze for a long time.

Not sure if relevant, but in case there’s some linear performance issue based on number of chrome tabs : - ) , it’s worth mentioning that I always have multiple chrome profiles open with many tabs.
