1Password 8 Keeps Locking

This version seems to lock itself regardless of the options set, and, the time to lock seems to be unrelated to anything obvious. I would note however that the problem occurs mostly on my iMac using Apple chipset; on a slightly older MacBook Pro, the lock settings seem to be respected. Both Macs use the same Mac OS versions (Monterey - current) and both use the same 1Password versions. The iMac has 1Password for Safari listed in Extensions, the other will not add the extensions in and they are not listed in extensions despite downloading.
