1Password 8 Keeps Locking

As an aside, I also use the same password software on couple of iPads - why are the apps so different? Visually and functionally they are dissimilar - is there any chance that the apps will all look the same in the future - for example favourites, Search box positions etc. DO the development teams speak to each other?
