1Password 8 [Mac] Beta no longer has "Exclude from All Vaults" option

In 1Password 7 this is a feature I use a lot as I prefer to move old items to [Retired] vaults rather than use the somewhat simple Archive functionality. Then I select the setting to exclude these Retired vaults from All Vaults.

1Password 8 doesn't seem to have or honour this setting any longer. There isn't even a vaults setting exactly, just an All Items. In any case, I would like to be able to have the contents of certain vaults not appear in All Items. Is this going to come back to 1Password 8?

Thanks,
Joshua.

As it stands, the browser extension has its own settings for this. I think ideally we'd like to have this sync between the app and extension if integration is enabled. If so, that'll likely come as part of a larger project to refresh the extension. For now you can right click on the extension's icon in your browser toolbar, select settings, and then adjust the vaults you want to appear in the "All Vaults" view at the bottom of that page.

    I hope that helps!

    Ah that works well, thanks!

However the browser extensions don't seem to support collections.. unless I'm missing something.

    Hey @Ostrowalker:

Great question! The All Items view will show you all items across all the 1Password accounts you may have. Collections allow you to create multiple collections with the vaults you'd like to see, much like 1Password 7's All Vaults. Let me know how you get on with that!
