1password 8 Master password will not work

When you say your account password "works on website vault", I take it that you can successfully sign in to 1Password.com?

If so, can you also check the following and let me know what happens in each case?

• what happens if you click the 👁️ reveal password button in the account password field? You'll need to enter at least one character for that button to appear.
• if you enter your account password into a text file and then copy and paste it into 1Password, does it work?
• do you have any accented or special characters in your account password? (Don't tell me what they are if so!)

Your account password should only include characters from this set:

ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
0123456789
! " # $ % & ' ( ) * + , - . / \ : ; ? @ [ ] ^ _ ` { | } ~
a space, entered by pressing the Space bar

If you have any other characters in your account password, you should change it to only include those from the ASCII set above: How to change your 1Password account password.

Check those three things and let me know how things go. I'll be here if you need any further help. :)
