1password 8 Master password will not work

By any chance, did you restore your Mac mini from a Time Machine backup? We have heard reports of Time Machine not correctly restoring the database, meaning your usual account password won't work to unlock it. It's not clear what the root cause of that is just now, but we're looking into it as best we can.

Check that all the items you would expect are on 1Password.com. If so, the best plan will be to reset 1Password on your Mac.

⚠️ Make sure you have a copy of your Emergency Kit or another signed-in device nearby to help you sign back in to your 1Password account on your Mac.
