The search is missing old functionality what was Great to use. The two features missing are :
1) The search bar of the top of the screen. Some apps even hide the bar by default but it can be shown by swipping down.
2) The alphabet letters to the right side of a list. This allowed fast navigation thru the list and does not cost much on the screen estate.
Can't wait to see them back in the App Very Soon!

Well, I must say that I’m getting used to 1P 8, so now search feature is easier to find.
Leave it as it is.@tophop You can still view an item’s previous password history by doing a press and hold on the password and tapping “view password history”.
I totally agree with the comments above. Please fix the issues!

To search:
1PW8: You need to find menu, select search and type your search item
1PW7: You type your search item.To get back to all items:
1PW8: Clear search item, click Cancel, find menu, select all items, scroll down to where your item is located (alphabetically or whatever sorting one has selected).
1PW7: it is still just at the right location, do nothing.It used to let you optionally view your passwords individually by clicking ‘Show Password’ in a context menu on your phone. This was important for entering passwords on computers you don’t have control over. Now that option doesn’t exist as a context menu option. Instead it is a setting buried under security. Unfortunately you can either show all your passwords all the time or you can hide your passwords all the time. I have no option but to show all my passwords on everything, which makes me feel less secure. Also you cannot view the password you wanted to see in a large font. I have no idea why the team would choose to get rid of these features.
You used to be able to see your previous passwords. This was helpful when you have to change a password in a few days and want to prepare in advance so you can practice typing it for familiarity, while still having the old password a couple clicks away. Now I guess I’ll have to copy the previous passwords in a note field under the password instead, again leaving me feeling less secure.
But I guess the app looks prettier, so…
I’m going back to version 7 until they hopefully bring back these abilities.

I couldn't agree more. The search problems are even worse on iPads. If you hide the side bar you can't search at all unless you unhide the sidebar.
The quick letter navigation is such a basic feature that I didn't even thought it could be omitted in a new release.Totally agree, I am considering uninstalling 8 after seeing the functionality is worse than the old version. It’s a shame because it feels nicer
