1password 8 no longer working on mac

I have 1password 7 on my ipad which is working. I have 1password 8 on my macbook, which is no longer working. What should I do. Can I uninstall and reinstall either?

    Hello @paws! 👋

    I'm sorry to hear that 1Password 8 is not working on your MacBook. Can you tell me a little more about specifically isn't working? Are you able to open the app and see all of your items when you try the following steps:

    1. Open your Applications folder.
    2. Double-click on 1Password.
    3. Enter your account password to unlock the app.
