4 years ago1Password 8: Quick Access Feedbacks
Hi, unfortunately, I did not participate in the beta test for 1Password 8 on Mac.
Is it possible to have a Password Generator in Quick Access? It would be great if I can generate passwords on the fly without opening my browser extension or the app itself.
Thanks! :)

I just dont understand what the people responsible for the application were thinking. half of very important features from version 7 are missing and even the existing password generator has big usability issues. It works completely different from v7 and in an unexpected way. I manually added new logins in v8 and lost generated passwords

+1, this is a feature I really miss from 1Password 7 (where I basically lived in 1Password Mini, just starting the main app very occationally).
I would also like to see this feature restored.

Just one tiny Quick Access visual request after using the new update for a day or two:
As you can see in the screenshot above from mickael, the color of the highlighted option doesn't extend under the three-dot button to the right, making the highlighted item appear visually unbalanced towards the left side of the window. I think a thin blue line continuing around the full edge of the three-dot menu would make it look better and ensure there were rounded corners on all sides of the highlighted option!

Great idea.
It would be great also if we could quicly copy the password of an entry of type "Server account" with Cmd+Shift+C.
like with a connexion entry.
Same feature request for passphrase of private key files

Hey @DJRiful:
Thanks for your feedback! While I can't promise anything, I can definitely see how it would be useful to generate passwords directly from Quick Access, so I'll share your thoughts with the team. 😀
