Thank you for the feedback! 1Password for Linux used to use Libappindicator to place an icon into the system tray but this was made an optional dependency back in 2021 since requiring it was causing issues for users who were trying to run the app without having this library installed.
If you'd like to see the system tray icon then you can try to install Libappindicator. That being said, I've shared your feedback and suggestions with the team internally.
