1Password browser extension in Waterfox browser

Obervation: It seems the browsers share their "locked/unlocked" status (regardless of desktop app status) EXCEPT for Waterfox, which seems to always lock the 1Password browser extension. ...

Hi, is there any update on Waterfox support? Note I am on most updated versions of both.

Thanks for following up! For security reasons, the 1Password desktop app will by default only connect to supported browsers such as Firefox, Chrome, Brave, Edge and Arc. If someone is using a Mac or Linux device then they can add Waterfox as an additional browser to the desktop app as long as it is signed and notarized: Add additional trusted browsers

The additional browsers feature is currently only available for the Mac and Linux. We're not currently adding new supported browsers since that isn't a long-term and sustainable solution. The team hopes to bring the additional browsers feature to 1Password to Windows in the future.

If you're using a Windows PC, you may still be able to use 1Password in Waterfox but you'll need to unlock it separately from the desktop app using your account password.
