1Password Browser extension Touch ID not working
Hello, It seems that the 1Password extension for Safari stopped allowing the use of Touch ID to log in to 1password. It is frustrating because everyone I need to open the browser extension in Safari I have to re-enter my master password. I have read through all support information and information on this forum and tried everything suggested including checking all settings (clicking them on and off) and restarting everything multiple times. This had been working until recently. Please let me know if you can help. Much appreciate you assistance.
1Password Version: Mac 8.10.40
Extension Version: 2.27.1
OS Version: MacOS Sonoma 14.6.1
Browser: Safari

Is there an extension update? There's no update button in safari? It's on version 2.24.2

I too have this issue and, according to the status referred to above, this is supposed to have been fixed. I've downloaded the new update 8.10.44 but the issue still remains.

Thank you, Kevin, Sorry if I was unclear. Chrome is working, great. I am not having any problems with using the 1password the Chrome browser extension. What I was trying to say was that when unlocking the Safari browser extension it only lasted for a short time before requiring me to unlock with 1password master password again. My point is that the issue with the Safari browser is two fold it includes the issue of unlocking the extension with Touch ID and unlocking with manually entering the master password. Please let me know when this issue is resolved as I prefer using the Safari browser for other reasons not related to this issue. Thanks, again.

Thank you, Kevin, I made Chrome my default application yesterday after writing this note. Unfortunately, to add to the frustration even unlocking the browser extension it only lasted for a short time before requiring me to unlock with password again. Chrome works perfectly. Please let us know when this issue is resolved. Thanks, again.
