    Hello komocode​! 👋

    Thank you for reaching out. When you click on the 1Password icon in Chrome, if the desktop app is running and Touch ID is enabled, then you should be prompted to unlock using Touch ID immediately. Can you check to make sure that you have the 1Password for Mac desktop app set to run in the background: 

    1. Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
    2. Click on 1Password next to the  in the menu bar.
    3. Click Settings.
    4. Make sure that "Keep 1Password in the menu bar" and "Start at login" are both turned on.


    Then, restart your Mac. Once you login to your Mac again, do you still see the same issue when unlocking 1Password in Chrome?
