1password desktop app keeps logging me out of chrome extension

Thank you for the question! Just to clarify: are you being asked to sign back into 1Password in the browser by providing all of your account information (account password, Secret Key, etc...)? Or are you just being asked to unlock 1Password in the browser using your account password?
How are you closing the 1Password app? Are you just closing the main window and letting it run in the background? Or are you completely quitting the desktop app? Can you check to see if you have the desktop app set to run in the background even if the main window is closed:
- Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
- Click on 1Password next to the in the menu bar.
- Click Settings.
- Make sure that "Keep 1Password in the menu bar" is checked.

Ah! I thought "Keep 1Password in the menu bar" only controlled whether or not the icon was in the Menu Bar. I didn't realize it's what kept 1pw running in the background. Thanks!
