1Password Doesn't Work With Synology NAS
When trying to log in, 1Password's browser extension doesn't recognize the login field. I have to manually go back and forth to cut/paste login and password.

+1. This stopped working for me about a month ago, on macOS Safari, after working fine for years (with both a Synology NAS and Synology router). I've no idea what changed.
(I of course have the correct Synology 10.x.y.z addresses configured in the 1Password entries.)

Tom turns out http not autofilling is a recently introduced defect. See:

Same here - started since 12/15/2025. Windows 7 Pro. Synology DMS 7.1.1-42962. Not sure when that was updated - set to automatic. Firefox current version

Tom you are correct about using https fixing the autofill problem.
I had been using http & http port number (not https) in the 1Password Synology entry (not best practise, but it's a private home network) probably to avoid Safari complaining that the https security certificate was signed by Synology and not a certificate authority. Then perhaps 1Password decided in a recent update that it was no longer going to do autofill id/pw in an unsecured connection?
Thanks for your reply!
