1Password edition 8.9.7 does not auto fill or save PW's in Safari

I have the new 1Password edition 8.9.7 on my iMac Pro OS Monterey (12.6) to replace my old 1Password. I can not get it to automatically fill PWs in Safari nor to update or save PWs like in the other ...

I ask a question about the new version 8 not auto-filling into Safari - but the question seems to disappear - I am using an iMac Pro and Monterey version 12.6 - The 1Password for Safari seems to be a different program?
