4 years ago1Password extension keeps showing loading GIF image and nothing happens.
Hello,
In Firefox version 98.0.1, when I click on the 1Password icon, the 1Password pop-up shows a loading GIF image followed by "Loading..." and nothing happens. Please see the screen capture.

I have been encountering this problem for a very login time and thought it would be momentary. But now, it has started happening frequently.
If I restart Firefox or disable & re-enable 1Password extension, 1Password extension loads as desired. But today, even after disabling & re-enabling 1Password extension several times, nothing happened.
BTW, I got the following message after I uploaded an attachment and clicked on Post Question button:
"You are not allowed to post attachments in this category. Please remove any attachments to proceed."

Hi,
So far, everything is going smooth and clicking the 1P icon in the browser pops up the Windows Hello dialogue box.
I will post back if I encounter any issues.

Hi,
I have updated 1P to 8.7.0. I will post an update if I encounter the above issues again.

Hi,
I may have found the problem. I am not certain, but I think the 1P add-on keeps crashing because clicking on the 1P icon does nothing.
So, I have to disable the 1P add-on and re-enable it after sometime. It either resolves the issue or not, in which case, there is no option but to completely close the browser and relaunch it again.
We may have two issues that are co-related to each other. Either the 1P add-on will show the pop-up window with the loading GIF, or nothing will happen.
As a side note, as of replying, the 1P add-on version is 2.3.3.

Hello @aloksharma,
I am sorry for the inconvenience. When 1Password gets stuck at loading when you first open your computer, please close your browser and ensure you unlock the 1Password desktop app first. It should work most of the time.
If that doesn't work, please try these additional steps. Right-click the 1Password icon in the browser toolbar > Settings > Scroll down to "Integrate with 1Password app" at the end of General section and toggle it off and on again.
