Hello folks,
Our developers have fixed an issue where the 1Password browser extension could become unresponsive in Firefox and cause abnormally high CPU usage. Please update to the latest version (8.11.4.27):
Thank you for your patience as we worked to develop and release a fix. If you're still seeing issues after updating then please send an email to support@1Password.com so that our team can investigate further.-Dave

I am having the same problem (same version too). I also tried disabling extension and re-installing. Please fix bc I now need to use a different browser.
I noticed that the 1password icon looks different than it used to (see attached). The black outer ring is missing (it is still there within Edge).

I was having a seemingly related problem, and I uninstalled the current version, and then installed version 8.10.82.29 from the 1Password Firefox Extension Version History Page (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1password-x-password-manager/versions/), and that is working for me. (You also have to Manage Extension and disable auto-updates for 1password until they fix it)

I noticed that it is working today and I had not done anything. The black ring around the icon is back. If it stops working, I will follow your instructions.
Thanks.

Unfortunately, the "working today" comment from yesterday only worked for 1 day. It stopped by today. So, I followed DuchVeliky suggestion to go back to version 8.10.82.29. Currently, it is working, but I do not know for how long.
