1Password on multiple computers on the same network
My wife is running an earlier version because on a previous upgrade attempt a couple of years ago she ended up with my password library [vault?] or a merger of hers and mine or something else. Whate...

1 month agoHello rbpeirce! 👋
Thank you for reaching out! There is no way for your 1Password account to show up on other computers, even on the same network, without you signing into your 1Password account on that computer using your Secret Key and account password. Your 1Password data never leaves your device without your explicit action and consent.
To advise further, we'll need some more information on how you and your wife currently use 1Password:
- What version of 1Password is your wife currently using? Is she on a Mac or Windows PC?
- Does she already have a 1Password account of her own?
- If she's using an older standalone vault, without an account, then are you using a 1Password Families account that you can invite her too? Or does she want to sign up for her own individual account?
We have a dedicated migration team that can walk you through the upgrade process and I recommend that you send the answers to these questions, along with a link to this thread, to support@1Password.com . After emailing in, you'll receive a reply from BitBot, our friendly robot assistant with a Support ID that looks something like [#ABC-12345-678]. Post that here, and I'll be able to locate your message and make sure it's gotten to the right place.

This says 20 hours ago! It was months ago! We're both on 8 right now which is causing its own frustration.
1Password for Safari simply will not work correctly on my wife's Intel based MBP but works fine on my M1 MBP. We are both running OS 15.7.3, 1Password 8.12.2 and 1Password for Safari 8.12.2. This problem was claimed to have been fixed with 15.6.x but it still exists.
We have tried turning the extension off & on, redownloading the extension, restarting everything. Nothing works for very long.
My wife wants to go back to 7 but I got her to put 1Password in her dock and to use that until you fix it. Please fix it!

That's quite odd, it looks like you posted the original post 20 hours ago (at the time of writing). It's possible that it was stuck as a draft and just posted now. We'll keep an eye out for further occurrences of this issue.
That being said, I'm sorry that your wife is running into issues with 1Password for Safari. I see that you've opened a ticket with our support team and one of my colleagues will send you a reply via email as soon as possible. To avoid having the same conversation in two places at once, I've closed this thread.
