1Password Safari Problems macOS Tahoe

Today, when I tried logging into a website in Safari, the 1Password dropdown in the username field brought up the touchID dialogue box, but, after authenticating, it failed to provide any username/password options. The 1Password toolbar button remained locked even though the username field button was now showing unlocked. Clicking the toolbar button gave me instructions to unlock 1Password, but multiple clicks yielded nothing. The only thing that worked was quitting Safari and restarting it. This is very much like the bug we had for about a year with macOS 15.
