1Password windows grey

Grey 1Password window after logging in

Issue:
After entering my password, I'm only getting to see a grey window.

I can enter the settings before entering the password or from the tray icon.

Troubleshooting:
I restarted my PC. (Windows 24H2 26100.4770)
I tried disabling hardware acceleration.
I followed troubleshooting from these two 2 Reddit threads:
https://www.reddit.com/r/1Password/comments/x4pes7/bug_1password_windows_app_completly_grey/
- https://www.reddit.com/r/1Password/comments/x7g9rs/cant_open_1password_on_desktop_help/
which consists of disabling device accent color under appearance and meddling with light theme.
I update to Beta by switching the release channel under Advanced and checking for updates.
I uninstalled and installed the latest production release again: 1Password for Windows 8.11.2 (81102021)

Nothing helped.

I appreciate any further troubleshooting I can try. Thank you!

Thanks for contacting us! My name is Gem and I'm part of the Customer Experience Technical team here at 1Password.

I understand that the 1Password main window is blank, and a reinstall and disabling hardware acceleration haven't helped, nor has trying the Beta version. We recently ran into an issue where opening an item in a new window and then clicking to view a linked item causes the main app window to go blank when it's next opened. Is there any chance you might have done something like this before the behaviour started?

If yes, or if you're not sure, could you follow the steps below, and let me know whether this gets things working for you?

    1. Before you begin, make sure you are able to log in at https://start.1password.com/signin and have a complete and up-to-date set of your data there.
      • It's also a good idea to make sure you have everything you need to easily sign back in, for example another signed in device or browser, or a copy of your Emergency Kit with your password filled in: https://support.1password.com/emergency-kit/#get-your-emergency-kit
    2. Right click on the 1Password icon in the system tray, and click Settings.
    3. Under the Advanced section of the settings menu, scroll to the bottom and click Reset 1Password, then confirm that you'd like to reset.
    4. Relaunch 1Password, and sign back in.

Let me know how this goes!
